I dont understand why DVD Players and some Recorders do not have a RF output, they can only be connected to a AV Input connection, Too bad if you have a older style TV that has no Input sockets, so you will need a RF modulator..

What is a Modulator?

Modulators convert a Video and Audio signal to an RF or 'Antenna' type signal to connect directly into a TV which only has a TV aerial socket.
This unit has Stereo Audio Input Sockets and a Video input Socket , it then converts it to a UHF Signal so it can be watched on a TV set that has no AV Sockets.
Stereo Audio and composite video RCA inputs and a SCART socket is also included.

To setup, Plug the flylead in to the Antenna socket on your TV set, and then connect the plug that was in your TV to the ANT IN socket. Connect the 3 AV plugs (Yellow,Red and White) to the same coloured sockets on this and your DVD unit (This lead you should have with your DVD player, we do not supply it) , plug in the Power pack, and its all connected. All you need to do is tune it in to Your TV set. It has a Test switch which will generate a Test Pattern if needed, full instructions included.
